The full name of the buckle scaffold is multi-functional buckle scaffold, which is a new type of building support system derived from the socket buckle steel pipe bracket. Compared with the coiled steel pipe support, it has the characteristics of large bearing capacity, fast construction speed, strong stability and easy management.

Three firsts have been achieved in the history of scaffold development: the "first" has realized that the steel pipe scaffold has no special locking parts in the structure; "The first" realizes that there are no moving parts on the steel pipe scaffold; "The first" has realized China's independent intellectual property rights for the overall new steel pipe scaffold. It has been widely used in road and bridge, municipal engineering, and housing construction engineering.

The main features of the buckle scaffold are: it has reliable two-way self-locking capability; No moving parts; Convenient and fast transportation, storage, erection and removal; Reasonable stress performance; It can be adjusted freely; Product standardized packaging; Reasonably assembled, its safety and stability are better than and superior to the portal scaffold; The practice shows that as a single-span, multi-span continuous beam and frame structure house formwork support system with beam span less than 15m and clearance height less than 12m, its stability and safety are better than and better than that of portal scaffold.

Disadvantages of turnbuckle scaffold: turnbuckle scaffold should not be erected on the ground where the base is not hard, the ground is not flat and the concrete is not hardened; It is not suitable to set up directly on the soft soil layer with poor soil quality and the ground that is prone to collapse; It can only be used as a floor-type scaffold, not as a cantilever scaffold.

What should be paid attention to during the construction: the special construction scheme design of the support system should be completed in the early stage, and the general contractor should set out and position the support system to make it horizontal and vertical, so as to ensure the setting of the cross bracing and the overall connecting rod in the later stage, and ensure its overall stability and anti-inclination. The installation foundation of the turnbuckle scaffold must be compacted and leveled and concrete hardening measures must be taken. The elevation range of the beam and slab bottom plate at the same elevation should be used for the turnbuckle scaffold. When the single member support frame with large height and span is used, the tension of the cross bar and the axial pressure (critical force) of the upright bar should be checked to ensure the stability and safety of the frame. After the erection of the frame body is completed, sufficient diagonal bracing shall be added, and sufficient horizontal tie rods shall be added between the jacking and the frame cross bar 300-500mm to ensure its overall stability reliably.
